Cheryl’s extensive experience in the communications field blends all aspects of marketing and public relations into execution. Cheryl is a recipient of the prestigious Harvey I. Cobert Award for outstanding professional achievement and contributions to the Volunteer Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She was also selected as one of Knoxville’s 40 Under 40 Business and Community Leaders by the Knoxville Business Journal.
Throughout her 20 years in marketing and public relations, Cheryl has developed strategic marketing initiatives for local, regional and national clients including PetSafe, JTV, Park N’ Fly and Sysco. She is an expert at integrating marketing, public relations and social media to deliver consistent key messaging, content and visual impact that resonates with consumers.
Prior to joining Fletcher in 2012, Ball owned and operated Curved Edge Consulting, a marketing communications firm based in Knoxville. Earlier in her career Cheryl held communications positions with LeBlanc Financial, the Girl Scouts, the National Association Medical Staff Services and Rhône-Poulenc Agriculture. She received a Bachelor of Science in communications/public relations from Appalachian State University with a minor in marketing. Cheryl holds the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) designation from PRSA. Her community involvement includes the Old North Knoxville Victorian Holiday Home Tour, Childhelp Tennessee and the Knoxville Botanical Garden.
